Spacious four bedroom property for sale in Ara – Skala Polichnitou. This property consists of two apartments on separate levels of a well proportioned house that is set 1.3 km from the sea and has a large garden. There are partial sea views from the upper veranda at the front of the house.

This property was built in 1985 and is located in an area known as Ara which borders with Skala Polichnitou. The surrounding area is mainly olive grove while Skala Polichnitou is known as a fishing port and small tourist resort. The apartments are set back off a quiet road which goes down to Skala Polichnitou.

Each apartment is fronted by large verandas, which are linked by an external marble stairway. The apartments are accessed directly from the verandas which lead straight in to the lounge/dining areas. However, the upstairs apartment has a second front door which leads into the hallway.

Both apartments have a similar layout. The very spacious lounge/dining areas (approx 33 square meters each) also incorporate the kitchens and separate washrooms. Hallways divide each apartment into living and bedroom areas. The four bedrooms are all double bedrooms with built in cupboard space. Both bedrooms on the upper floor have walk on balconies and good size windows making them light and airy. The down stairs bedrooms both have two windows each. At the end of each hallway are the bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom does require some modernization, whilst the upstairs bathroom is in almost new condition decorated with stylish blue ceramics. The bathrooms are also well sized, being considerably larger than average for this type of property.

Each kitchen has been fitted with traditional solid wood wall and floor cabinets. The downstairs kitchen has the additional benefit of being separated from the lounge/dining area by a breakfast bar. The worktops are in wood and marble with stainless steel sinks.

The downstairs apartment has been laid with ceramic tiles while the upstairs apartment has been laid with traditional terrazzo style floors. Originally, all the doors and shutters were made from good quality wood. However several have now been replaced by modern aluminium units, which include double glazing, shutters and fly screens. Because the apartments were originally intended for summer use only, there is no central heating. Furthermore, there are no air conditioning units and the hot water is provided by conventional electric immersion heaters. The decorative state of both apartments is generally good, but some minor plaster repairs and paint work is required.

 The garden has been planted with grape vines and assorted fruit and nut trees which include apple, plum, almond, walnut and olive. The areas surrounding the house have also been planted with some garden flowers. There is a well with an electric pump for providing irrigation to the garden. In addition, there is enough space in front of the building to make a parking space.
