Traditional mid-terrace house (2 up, 2 down) located in a peaceful part of Polichnitos town. The house was stone built in the early 20^th century on a south facing hillside and overlooks the town. Furthermore it is just 10 minutes walk to shops and amenities.

The house is situated at the top of a narrow cobbled street. After entering through a stone gateway you are in a pleasant, shaded courtyard which is edged by the main house and two outbuildings. These two brick built structures accommodate the kitchen and bathroom.

Inside the main house, the typical local design of a long hallway and circular wooden stairway, navigates you to the two upstairs bedrooms and lounge/spare room downstairs. Some notable features are the excellent condition of the stairs and the unique inlay design in the mosaic style floor.  The beautiful coloured stone used in the floor is itself a natural beauty. Furthermore a bespoke, hand crafted marble mantelpiece adorns the wall in the lounge.

The layout of the ground and first floors is almost identical. The main bedroom and lounge each measure about 4m x 4m whereas the spare room and small bedroom are roughly 1.5m x 4m. From both bedrooms, there are lovely views overlooking St George’s church which is the largest in Polichnitos.

The main house has been well maintained and is in a good decorative state. In addition, it benefits from having aluminium doors, shutters and window frames (with double glazing). Heating is by wood burning fire or stove, supplemented by air conditioning. There is an immersion tank for heating water however there is ample space to install a solar panel system.

With regards to the kitchen and bathroom, these do need some modernization. However they are clean and functional for the meanwhile.
