Three Storey House for Sale in Plomari. Sea Views.
Just behind the main seafront – promenade of Plomari, is this traditional three storey mid-terrace house set in the outskirts of Plomari. The house was stone built in 1933 on a south facing hillside and overlooks part of the harbor. Some of the best tavernas and cafeterias in Plomari are located a short distance away, with shops and other amenities only 5 to 10 minutes by foot.
The house is situated on a narrow cobbled street. One enters the house directly from the street taking you onto the ground floor. This comprises a kitchen, a bathroom and a store room. Opposite the front door a stairway leads up to the first floor and a large landing. There are two doorways which lead into two rooms. The room at the back would be best used as a bedroom while the front room has sufficient natural light to make a good sized sitting room. Furthermore, the front room has a floor to ceiling window.
The stairway continues up to the second floor which again has a large landing with two doorways opening into the rooms. These rooms are very light and spacious with high ceilings and big windows. The front room has a view over the sea and the promenade while the back room has a window which is tall enough to be used as a doorway out onto a street behind the house. Furthermore, the front room also has a doorway which leads onto a small balcony.
Both of these rooms are currently used as bedrooms and are fitted out with built in cupboards set into the thick stone walls.
The overall condition of the house is very good and a light redecoration is all that would be needed to improve the property. The ground floor has a pink/red marble mosaic style floor whiles the two other stories have wooden floors and ceilings. The windows at the front of the house have been fitted with simple sliding aluminium units and the back bedroom window, on the top floor, has been left in wood.
The kitchen is made up of a traditional single run of floor and wall cupboards made from wood. The floor units support a marble work top and stainless steel sink. The bathroom is fitted with white ceramic units and comprises a WC, shower base and a sink. Hot water is supplied to the kitchen and water by a solar heating system with an electric immersion element to boost the heating on days when there is no sun.
